We’re searching for an Engineering Talent Acquisition Partner (aka The Talent Ally) to help shape our engineering teams by connecting them with the best talent in the industry.

As the Engineering Talent Acquisition Partner at our client, you’ll play a pivotal role in sourcing and recruiting top engineering talent, while working closely with hiring managers to ensure seamless hiring processes. This role isn’t just about filling positions—it’s about partnering with technical leaders, understanding their needs, and delivering talent that drives innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Talent Acquisition:
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders to deeply understand their hiring needs, technical requirements, and team culture. You’ll develop tailored recruiting strategies that align with business objectives and proactively engage with both active and passive candidates.
  • Sourcing and Engaging Talent:
    • Source, attract, and engage top engineering talent through multiple channels, including LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, job boards, and networking events. You’ll identify candidates who not only have the technical skills but also align with the company’s culture and values.
  • Candidate Assessment and Screening:
    • Conduct thorough screening and assessments to evaluate candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to align on job descriptions and interview processes to ensure the right match for each role.
  • Pipeline Development and Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future engineering roles, engaging with potential candidates regularly to ensure long-term relationships. You’ll keep candidates engaged throughout the hiring process and beyond, even if they’re not an immediate fit.
  • Candidate Experience Management:
    • Ensure a world-class candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding. You’ll keep candidates informed, provide timely feedback, and maintain clear communication, ensuring they have a seamless and positive experience with the company.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Teams:
    • Work closely with hiring managers, engineers, and leadership to align recruitment efforts with team goals. You’ll provide market insights, advise on salary expectations, and help refine interview techniques to improve hiring efficiency and outcomes.
  • Employer Branding and Talent Advocacy:
    • Promote the company’s employer brand by showcasing its culture, technology stack, and mission to prospective candidates. You’ll represent the company at tech meetups, conferences, and networking events, building relationships with top engineering talent.


    Requirements

    Required Skills:

    • Engineering Recruiting Expertise: Deep understanding of the engineering and technology landscape, including software development, DevOps, data engineering, and cloud technologies. You can confidently engage with both candidates and hiring managers on technical topics.
    • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Proven experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process for engineering roles, including sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding. You’ve successfully hired top technical talent in competitive markets.
    • Sourcing Mastery: Expertise in finding and engaging passive and active candidates through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other tech communities. You’re skilled at using advanced search techniques and building long-term relationships with candidates.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with hiring managers, candidates, and teams. You’re skilled at presenting opportunities in a way that resonates with engineering talent while aligning with business needs.
    • Data-Driven Recruiting: Experience using recruiting metrics and analytics to track performance, improve sourcing strategies, and ensure timely hiring. You make data-informed decisions to optimize recruiting processes and outcomes.
    • Negotiation and Closing: Experience negotiating offers and closing candidates, ensuring compensation packages are competitive and aligned with market expectations.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience with a proven track record in technical recruiting and relationship management is also valued.
    • Certifications in HR, talent acquisition, or recruiting (e.g., SHRM, AIRS) are a plus. If you’ve completed technical recruiting workshops or training programs, that’s an added bonus.

    Experience Requirements:

    • 4+ years of experience in recruiting engineering talent, with a focus on roles such as software engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, and DevOps professionals.
    • Proven experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and job boards to source and manage candidates.
    • Experience partnering closely with engineering leaders in fast-paced, high-growth environments, such as tech startups or enterprise organizations.
