As an Early Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future workforce. You’ll lead the full recruitment cycle with a strong focus on creative sourcing, hosting impactful campus and community events, and guiding candidates through co-op, internship, and early-career hiring experiences. You’ll build strong partnerships with colleges and universities, collaborate closely with hiring managers, showcase what makes Greenheck Group a great place to grow and encourage students and emerging professionals to explore career paths with us.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle—including sourcing, pipeline development, interviewing, and offer coordination—to attract and hire top talent, with an emphasis on Greenheck Group’s co-op, internship, and early-career opportunities.

  • Coordinate campus recruiting activities such as career fairs, information sessions, classroom visits, and student organization events.

  • Build and maintain relationships with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations.

  • Manage the end-to-end candidate experience, including job postings, interview scheduling, offer processes, assessing housing needs and eligibility, and pre-boarding communication.

  • Post and source candidates across Handshake, LinkedIn, Workday, and other recruiting platforms; schedule and track outreach campaigns.

  • Partner with the Early Talent Program Specialist to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance through onboarding.

  • Support Greenheck Group’s brand through presentations, campaigns, and ambassador programs.

  • Track key recruiting metrics, analyze results, and recommend process improvements.

  • Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding steps, including background checks, drug screens, and required documentation.

  • Serve as the central point of contact for high school and middle school engagement initiatives by coordinating career exploration events, facility tours, and community outreach activities to promote early awareness of manufacturing careers.

  • Assist Talent Acquisition team, as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What you should have:

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in recruiting required.

  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent years of job experience required.

  • Ability to travel 10–25% of the time.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with students, faculty, and external partners.

  • Experience using an applicant tracking system, Workday preferred.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Excel.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks. Work may be performed in company’s setting, home, or hybrid.
