PEPL has been engaged to place a Director of Talent Acquisition for a growing client in Atlanta, GA.   The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead the strategic recruitment efforts for our client by ensuring top-tier talent is recruited and retained and is aligned with our client’s mission and values to meet their current and future business needs. The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead a small team and demonstrate a “doer” mentality with the ability to translate vision into the right hire.  

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition and recruitment strategy that supports the company's growth and profitability plans while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition team and end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for roles within the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide strategic guidance on candidate sourcing and selection.
  • Promote our client's value proposition and brand to potential candidates and associates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and transparent information about the company and job opportunities.
  • Ensure recruiting and hiring activities are ethical, fair, and legally compliant while attracting well-qualified candidates.
  • Stay up-to-date with external recruiting trends, best practices, and competitor insights to continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Establish recruiting KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, identify areas for improvement, provide data-driven recommendations, and implement effective processes to drive accountability and achieve desired results.
  • Manage executive-level recruitment, including assessment and offer negotiation.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and hiring managers, providing guidance on best practices, recruitment trends, and market insights.
  • Identify and evaluate potential recruitment partners, including job boards and technology platforms, to support talent acquisition needs. Partner with Legal on contracts and service agreements with recruitment vendors, outlining terms, pricing, deliverables, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field required.  
  • Workday experience required.
  • 10 years of talent acquisition experience.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully managing a recruiting team and process for a company, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.
  • HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients with a proactive and flexible approach and willingness to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills; interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and provide strategic recruitment guidance.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, industry trends, and tools.
  • Ability to distill complex ideas and communicate across the organization.
  • Excellent people skills to sell the company/job and attract talent.
  • Must be a disciplined team player and caring leader with a strong moral compass and common sense approach.
