In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Proactively source/recruit talented people (through LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools) for a variety of career opportunities across all Graycor offices and project locations.
  • Regularly connect and communicate with a lot of candidates, various hiring managers/executives, and search firm partners.
  • Clearly and confidently describe to candidates why we feel strongly that Graycor is a great place to work by promoting our culture and employer brand.
  • Partner with the EVP, HR and hiring managers to develop creative recruiting solutions.
  • Drive the search process from start to finish by coordinating live and virtual interviews with the hiring manager and interviewing team.
  • Serve as a guide and advisor in the interview process to ensure consistent recruiting, selection and hiring processes.
  • Partner with the marketing team to improve the company’s internet presence, including our online/social media presence to proactively promote our culture and brand.  
  • Partner with key external search firms to supplement candidate sourcing and hiring efforts.
  • Work to leverage key industry organizations and conferences that support our hiring strategy; represent the Company at identified events.
  • Track key metrics to measure recruiting performance; drives activities to meet and exceed the achievement of these key metrics.
  • Serve on various special projects in the areas of employee wellness, volunteerism, charitable giving, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), learning and development, and other employee engagement efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.  

 

To be successful in this position, you will need:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, construction, engineering, or relevant discipline required.  
  • 1 year of experience recruiting hard to fill technical positions; construction industry recruiting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with online recruitment tools (intranet job posting, LinkedIn Recruiter / Careers Page, job boards, other social media recruiting tools, etc.)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel,; experience with applicant tracking software programs preferred.  
  • Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills and the ability manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Sense of urgency and proactive desire to support hiring managers/executives and interviewing teams.  
  • Strong follow up and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when managing sensitive employee information.
