As the Contract Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will lead recruitment efforts for high‑impact and complex roles that shape the future of the organization. In this strategic and collaborative position, you’ll work closely with hiring leaders to understand evolving talent needs, craft and execute targeted recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience. Serving as a trusted advisor, you will influence key hiring decisions, strengthen organizational capabilities, and play a critical role in advancing the overall talent acquisition function.
Note this role is a Limited Term Contract role located in Toronto, ON.
Major Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent for senior, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles.
Partner closely with hiring managers and HR leaders to understand talent needs, define role requirements, and align on effective hiring strategies.
Serve as a trusted talent advisor, providing insights on market trends, talent availability, and competitive compensation to inform hiring decisions.
Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines using diverse sourcing strategies including social platforms, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
Lead structured candidate screening and interview processes, partnering with hiring teams to develop effective evaluation criteria and interview questions.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication, timely feedback, and clear expectations throughout the hiring process.
Manage key stakeholder relationships while driving alignment on recruiting timelines, process steps, and hiring outcomes.
Leverage recruiting data and analytics to track key metrics, evaluate effectiveness, and make data-driven improvements to hiring strategies.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and recruiting best practices while continuously improving processes and operational efficiency.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field or Equivalent Experience
Work Experience
5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment
2 years with recruitment focus on senior-level and specialized roles
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Proven track record of successfully recruiting for complex positions
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Ability to develop and implement long-term recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
ecobee is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The Salary range for this role based in (Toronto, ON) is ($90,000-$100,000) This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.
