Communications Intern (Talent Acquisition) 


Schedule:

Pay: 

$18 per hour

About the Role
Are you passionate about content creation, digital storytelling, and building a brand that stands out? As a Communications Intern for the Talent Acquisition team at POLYWOOD®, you’ll be a driving force behind creating a world-class employer brand. In this role, you’ll shape the first impression applicants and new hires have of POLYWOOD®, making every interaction engaging, positive, and memorable.


You’ll develop, post, and manage creative content across platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Instagram, Facebook, and Snap. Your efforts will showcase what makes working at POLYWOOD® so unique while helping attract top-tier talent.

Additionally, you’ll craft bi-weekly newsletters highlighting open roles and company updates, along with a monthly contest newsletter to drive internal engagement. This hands-on opportunity will give you real-world marketing experience while contributing directly to the future of talent at POLYWOOD®.

 


What You’ll Be Doing

Social Media & Content Creation:

  • Develop and post engaging content for LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Instagram, Facebook, and Snap to build our employer brand.
  • Create eye-catching graphics, videos, and compelling copy that reflect our fun, innovative culture.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor posts using social media management tools.

Content & Campaign Management:

  • Keep job descriptions and company pages fresh and updated on Glassdoor and Indeed.
  • Write bi-weekly newsletters featuring open roles, hiring highlights, and company updates.
  • Create a monthly contest newsletter to engage internal team members.

Brand Storytelling & Engagement:

  • Share employee success stories, hiring events, and behind-the-scenes content that highlight our vibrant company culture.
  • Collaborate with team members to capture testimonials and dynamic team content that bring our brand to life.


What We’re Looking For

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
  • Current college student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Creative thinker with a talent for storytelling and brand-building through engaging content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for employer branding and recruitment marketing is a plus!
