DescriptionSUMMARY
We are looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Associate to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will report directly to the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition. In this role, you’d serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the recruiting process and will begin learning the fundamentals of recruiting. The Talent Acquisition Associate will touch all parts of the hiring process from requisition qualification to hiring the candidate. This role is a blend of administrative (70%) and traditional recruiting duties (30%). You will be responsible to recruit for high volume positions, provide training, guidance and support to hiring managers and human resources staff. This position requires exceptional organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills. In this role, you’d use a strong customer orientation through interactions with applicants, vendors, and internal partners at all levels of the organization.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and manage postings for internal and external roles.
- Source and recruit on factory hourly operations roles and entry level job requisitions.
- Facilitate onsite interview events and extend verbal offers.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Recruiters and leader in various communications throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Schedule and coordinates interview activities relating to Pella Corporation’s recruiting efforts.
- Greet and host candidates when they are on site at Pella Corporation setting the stage for a welcoming visit.
- Conduct benefit overviews with candidates.
- Facilitate onboarding tasks including but not limited to; background checks, drug screens, benefit correspondence, and internal transfers.
- Identify and implement process improvements and maintain related documents in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
QualificationsESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university preferred
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems or processes when needed
- High attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset with the ability to think quickly and execute on tasks with minimal direction
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Applicant Tracking System (Oracle)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of Talent Acquisition systems and online platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed preferred
- Experience recruiting for entry level, high volume roles preferred
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with, candidates, hiring managers, vendors and other key stakeholders
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and people skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational, time management and project management skills
- Strong sales mentality
