Join our Attorney Talent Acquisition Team as an Attorney Talent Acquisition Assistant located in our Chicago office.

This role will be based in our Chicago office, on an in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to the Attorney Talent Acquisition Manager.

Position Summary

The Attorney Talent Acquisition Assistant plays a key role by assisting the Attorney Talent Acquisition (Legal Recruitment) team in carrying out activities related to the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of attorneys (in particular summer associates), and assisting with additional recruitment initiatives as needed. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed, especially during peak student recruiting periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with student recruiting process and Summer Associate Program

  • Provides support for student recruitment process by preparing materials, scheduling callback interviews, following-up with attorneys, and coordinating appropriate communications to candidates

  • Assists with the coordination of in-person or virtual interviews for candidates and distribution of relevant materials to interviewers

  • Maintains and tracks candidates in the applicant tracking system, and manages and updates applicant databases with relevant information

  • Performs miscellaneous administrative duties, including but not limited to processing invoices and law firm shared expenses

  • Assists with other department activities/special projects as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation

  • Recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information, and maintain confidentiality


Education & Prior Experience

  • High School Diploma; pursuing Bachelor’s Degree, particularly in Human Resources a plus

  • Zero to two years administrative recruiting experience in a mid-to-large size professional organization preferred; law firm experience a plus

Technology

  • Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly

The expected pay range for this position is:

$29.49 to $31.49 per hour
