Associate Talent Acquisition Partner

As an Associate Technical Recruiter, you will be a part of the HMH Recruitment Team and own the end-to-end recruitment process for key teams that are at the forefront of bridging education and technology for the next generation of learning experiences.  You will seek out and hire the best in Software Engineering, Data Science, and Product Management to equip these teams. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to work on broader topics like Employer Branding, Onboarding and TA Operations. You will have fun, learn a lot and make a significant impact to the team and HMH as a whole.

Day in the Life

·        Identify and source quality candidates via multiple recruiting channels and techniques, including inbounds, proactive outreach, and referrals

·        Conduct initial phone screens to assess the candidate’s alignment both with the relevant role & HMH values

·        Manage multiple requisitions and candidates during high volume periods, while creating & maintaining an exceptional candidate experience

·        Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their teams and goals

·        Consistently track pipeline, priorities, performance data and other recruiting metrics

·        Think outside of the box to create inclusive talent sourcing strategies that align with HMH’s value proposition

What You’ll Need to be Successful

·        1+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience

·        Bi-lingual in English and French Canadian

·        The ability to handle confidential & proprietary information with discretion

·        The desire to represent & embody HMH’s employment value proposition, both internally and externally

·        Be a self-starter and focused on outcomes

·        Demonstrate Agility when goals change

Vos responsabilités

• Identifier et rechercher des candidats de qualité par le biais de différents canaux et techniques de recrutement, notamment les appels téléphoniques, la sensibilisation proactive et les références.
• Effectuer des présélections par téléphone afin d’évaluer si le candidat correspond au candidat recherché et partage les valeurs de HMH.
• Gérer plusieurs demandes et candidatures à la fois pendant les périodes les plus occupées, tout en créant et en maintenant une expérience candidat exceptionnelle.
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les responsables du recrutement pour comprendre les équipes et leurs objectifs.
• Être constamment au courant des besoins essentiels, des priorités, des données de performance ainsi que d’autres mesures de recrutement.
• Sortez des sentiers battus pour créer des stratégies inclusives de recherche de talents qui correspondent à la proposition de valeur de HMH.

Ce dont vous aurez besoin pour réussir

• 1 an minimum d’expérience en recrutement technique à cycle complet
• Bilingue en anglais et en français canadien
• Capacité à gérer des informations confidentielles et exclusives
• Volonté de représenter et d’incarner la proposition de valeur d’emploi de HMH, tant à l’interne qu’à l’externe
• Être autonome et axé sur les résultats
• Faire preuve d’agilité lorsque les objectifs changent
