This key leadership role supports the district’s vision that all students graduate prepared for a successful life by overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies that attract and support exceptional educators and staff. The Assistant Director will lead initiatives such as student teacher placements, substitute onboarding and training, and “Grow Your Own” educator development programs in partnership with colleges and universities. They will also play a vital role in enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention through culturally responsive onboarding and continuous improvement efforts.
