The Aerospace Talent Acquisition Specialist Role:

The Aerospace Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring highly skilled personnel at Darkhive, with a main focus in the engineering fields (electrical, mechanical, software, etc). Additionally, this position will assist with acquisition efforts for for a variety of roles within our organization such as back office/administration positions. This individual will leverage their industry knowledge, connections and recruiting expertise to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, and verbal offer negotiation.
  • Technical Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing strategies, including online platforms, networking events, and industry databases, to identify and attract qualified aerospace professionals.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Technical Screening: Conduct thorough technical screenings to assess candidates' skills and experience, ensuring alignment with job requirements.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and talent market conditions to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the recruitment process.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Employer Branding: Represent the company at industry events and promote our employer brand to attract top talent.
  • ATS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS


The Aerospace Talent Acquisition Specialist in an exempt position reporting to the Sr. Human Resources Manager.  If the candidate is not in the San Antonio, Texas area, the position may be remote.  Some travel to recruiting or HQ events is expected.

Requirements

Qualifications you bring:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Resources, Communication, or related field

·        7+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on aerospace engineering (hardware, electrical, software, etc)

·        Proven track record of successfully recruiting engineers and office support positions

·        Strong understanding of aerospace technologies and industry trends

·        Excellent sourcing and networking skills

·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·        Proficiency in using ATS (Workable) and other recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter)

·        Ability to work independently and as a team

·        Strong organizational and time management skills

·        Ability to multi-task several option positions working in a dynamic environment

·        Knowledge of employment laws and government contractor regulations

·        Eligibility to work in the United States

Bonus Qualifications:

·        Experience recruiting in the drone industry

·        Experience recruiting for government contracting and/or security clearance positions

·        Professional certification (AIRS)

·        U.S. Military Veteran, Reservist, Guard
